We have a few important things coming up.
Legislation day is March 13. If you are in the Springfield area or can make it there, there will be a tentative agenda from 0800-0900. Meet at VFW Post 755, 2211 Old Jacksonville Rd, Springfield, IL 62704. The flyer with all the details is attached below.
We only have a few hours left, so we urgently call to action. Please take a moment to go to the link Dutch provided and fill out the witness slip. Forward that email to everyone you know (friends and family) in Illinois and post it on social media. This is a very important bill, and you can make a big difference for veterans. The meeting is at 3:30 today. If you support veterans, please take action and be a PROPONENT of this bill.
Post Commanders, your current dashboard statistics are attached. It's time to get these all green. If you are out there doing the work, please report it. If you need help reporting, please reach out, and I will show you how. But we need to start seeing green across the board. Your dashboard is a guideline for doing what we are supposed to be doing: helping veterans.
Regarding membership, a current copy of your membership numbers is attached. Please look them over. The weather is starting to get warm again, so we need to get out there and start recruiting. There is no reason why we can't get to 102%. If you need any help or information, please reach out. We need to see these numbers go up, so let's go out and get them.
